20 x 9.5 American Racing with 305/55R20(33.2),the backspace is probably 5 or 5.5..Thats why im selling them, got a new pair that stick out further with 4.5 backspace.

I had to run 5.98" of backspace to make my 35x12.5's fit. ( on a 9 " rim) They tried to put on the 5.39" BS rims & they rubbed both front & rear of the fender opening.

Yup, she's leveled and the 305's I'm running are around 33 x 12.50. Wheel offset is the distance from the centerline of the wheel to the mounting surface on the back of the wheel. Wheel width and backspacing are generally more useful #'s to go by.
Like Pauly said, 9" max in width and somewhere around 5.5" to 6" backspacing are ideal.

Thank you
Running 16 psi up front and 13 psi out back. Although the picture doesn't show it, the beach with truck access here has some very soft sand, especially up by the entrances, the area be the inlet has a much firmer sand layer. Running a low pressure lets the truck "walk" right through all the marshmellow fluff we have.

so backspacing just makes the wheel stick out wider???
In theory, yes.... Backspacing combined with overall wheel width.
Should be good, a 8.5 wide wheel with 5.5" backspacing is pretty much perfect.
