wheel backspacing and offset issue

im looking to get the carli starter kit and im looking to get 20's for it as well.
my question is does anyone one know the proper backspacing and offset i need. im not looking for the tires to stick out too much. also what size tires should i get?

I think the stock back spacing is 8 x 6.5.

stock wheels are 17*8 with 8 x 6.5 lug pattern and ~6.1 backspacing. if you don't want them to stick out there are hardly any wheels with correct offset and backspacing. most aftermarket wheels have 5-4.5 backspacing that will push the wheels out= more stress on hubs and mud all over the side and possible rubbing on wheel well. Look for something with close to zero offset!

There not cheap but come in 17&20 inch with up to 6in backspacing and in different finishes with or without different trim rings. http://www.walkerevansracing.com/

the wheels im looking to get are the american force super single 20 inch rebel ss. they are suppose to be made to order so im gonna see what they can do.

5.5 would be the least amount of backspace if you
do not want the tires to stick out.

Check out Centerline Wheels, they have many styles available, you can get a 17x8.5 with 6" backspacing....

the rims i want have a -25 offset. anyone have a picture of there rims with the same offset? i want to see how far they stick out
