Whats your highest DTE, mine just read 552!!!

when my truck was bone stock and I filled it up all the way and did hwy and city driving, more highway tho, I used to get about 470-495 on DTE, MAXIMUM and about 15.8MPG on city and 19.0 MPG on HWY. Now I have a BHAF and sraight pipe and I use the HOWES MEANER CLEANER additive and I get about 18.0 MPG on the city and about 23 MPG on the HWY and usually about 510 DTE, tonight I filled my tank and I got my HIGHEST EVER, 552!!!

So im wondering whats the highest yours has ever read. I also wonder what'll be like when I get the EDGE installed in a few days.

Up here in canada, we cant use those guages reliably,, they are programed for US gallons, which is considerably smaller than the imperial gallon,, but I have manually calculated my milage, and I have hit a high of 28 on the highway, and average around 25, if I keep it under 120klicks, and I have hit a high of 21 around town, but I was babying it alot,, not too much fooling around

I have you tried changing it? I think it is programmable for that

Anyway, after topping mine off it is around 650 on the DTE.

DTE dont really mean anything substancial. its calculating the amount of fuel and the est mpg and then giving you a readout on the estimated dte. so, roll down hill at idle and that sucker will be pegging quadruple digits. woohoo?

I've seen 600+ many times. Now that I've added big tires my mileage sucks. Big time....

I added a Racers Choice airbox this week and mine is reading 622 after the fill up. But I think mine is wrong. It averages out on the stock short bed tank. I have the big tank(34 gallon) So the DTE averages very close to the low fuel light coming on. Then I go and fill it and it only takes 29 gallons, AM I the only one with this problem? My old truck the fuel light came on at 3 gallons to go. This one is on at 5 gallons to go and the DTE averages out to the 5 gallons to go.

I've gone 60 miles past the DTE with no problems. If you do the vent mod to your truck you'd get about 37 gallons with no waiting... I think all our tanks are 34gal from the factory.

No not all the fuel tanks are the same. The long box gets a 35 gallon tank. But the short box gets the 26 gallon tank stock. But most come with the optional 34 gallon tank. I think it is standard with the slt package. And what is the Vent MOD? Thx Dave

My DTE read about 750 miles the last time I filled up. My OH is very accurate when driving only on the highway so I have to think I could drive that many miles.

My DTE always says 620 everytime I fill up. It has read this since I bought the truck new. (4800 miles ago) I get about 325-350 miles to half a tank. I try to fill up as soon as I hit half cuz it doesn't hurt as bad in the wallet!! So I am sure I could get better than the 620 for a full tank. I thought it was just programed to automaticly go to 620 because I have never seen more or less than that.

Mine will read sometimes in the five hundred range but will not change for a hundred or so miles). I recently went over 700 miles on my first long empty (not towing a 5th). I have the 35 gallon tank with the fuel vent kit.

my truck is a 128 litre,,, not sure what that is in us gallon,, but i have gone well over a 100 kms after the light has gone on,, 100k = 63 miles

Also,, how do you program that,, it is kind of annoying having to do it manually,,,
