The Tial gates are Ok for us but they don't like the heat we produce...... Also the cycles they last before a rebuild can be crazy. I have one at the house but I forgot the manufactorer. Darn thing will take 2200*+ and is good for over a million cycles. Best part is if/when it needs a rebuild it only needs a ring. The one I have is a 50mm and is billet. I will check the brand and post.

My 38mm Tial is still in one piece....the body is made of special stainless steel and the vent side is Aluminum Alloy. The diaphragm is the only week link but it is easily replaced...If the wastegate melts out....the pistons are probably already gone. I ran mine up to 1700....the tial lasted longer than the inconel valves...if there is a better wastegate....I'm always interested.
I think you can just machine and tap a manifold to take a wastegate. Ask Olee at power by poole....ks

Yep, I like it....my Tial would always leak above 50psi....the 2" vband connections make removal a snap...If it was good to 120psi...I'd be very happy. ks

I've got a few of those laying around . They are massive compared to their 40mm though. The race trucks I'm building will use those.
