I bet $100 it is slipping. You said it goes good in 1st then falls apart with the RPM's high and not going anywhere? converter slipping and possibly clutches.

Here are the current prices from HTS.
Transmssion and valve body + other goodies 2395
TQ Converter $1295
Billet Input Shaft $699
Billet Intermediate $742
Billet Output $725
Double Deep Pan $250
Billet Flexplate - $432
Shipping -$400

Total for fully billet tranny (shipped both ways) ==== $6938

You get answered when you call and they treat you right at HTS. I did try to go with goerend brothers but waited a week with no call back so my business went to HTS. Had the tranny 9 days after I called them. And I live in a suburb of seattle.

Call HTS in the morning tomorrow and talk to Marianne. She will help you locate a good shop that can do the work. When I first called her she didn't know of anybody around my area. An hour later she called back with 3 shops that they said could do it. 1 was a 1/2 mile from my house (a shop that usually is only banks and bd stuff called The Powershop which I have dynoed at a few times)

Just call her and see if she knows of any.

You will have to call and see if there is a dealer in that area... I would assume and ASE certified mechanic could do it.... ????

Anybody else heard anything on hts or have a trans from them? Do you like it? How does it work with a lifted truck? I called earlier and had them look up places in okc for me to have it installed
