No way. 12.49 - 12.99... yes. 11.99 - 12.49...no way. I am currently considering DDP 90hp injectors added to my current set up VS. going SMARTY/TST, but if I put 90hp injectors in my truck right not it WILL NOT run sub 12.50. I would hope for 12.8-13.0. I haven't run it, but I've run enough fairly fast cars to know my truck is still in the mid 13s right now and another 70-100hp isn't going to gain me another full second. Our racecar has run a best 11.51 but mostly runs right at 12.0, a set of injectors will not get my truck there.

I second the "cool" with a 6280 comment. I can see 1500 at the end of a run.

Right now I am running stock cp3, I will be putting in a cp3.4 this spring. Have to wait as I can afford things. I probably will be adding in a DR Performance pred too, but I will try running with and without it. I am going to try the dyno this weekend with and without it.

As for EGTs I have never gotten to 1400 with mine,, ever, and I have done some pretty crazy things with it. Even pulling my 5er I never even hit 1300

Wade (Diesel Power) from NGM Diesel is "in" with the NADP and II crew and even his truck isn't low 12's. And he and Robert claims it has 800hp...

If you want big power run dual cp3's, Flux injectors and a big single (bigger than a Silver Bullet)or twins. That will put you very close to the 11's if not in it. A silver bullet (or any 66) is maxed out way before it gets to the 11's on fuel only let alone a 62.

No offense to anyone... That is just what I have gathered from comparing dyno sheets and more importantly, track times.

it takes alot to get a 4x4 4 door in the 12's. if its an 305/555 motor it takes even more than an 04.5 and up.

Phat Shaft 62/14 Turbo
Edge Juice/Attitude stacked w/Diablo Predator
70hp Dynomite Diesel Injectors

dont think thats gonna cut it.

Barry at NADP must be telling his customers what they want to hear... Low 12's is tough.

Well..... he has proof in the pudding, he has several trucks at that point, he has Mike Drevers truck in the 10's now, with a 66, the ppe dr performance stack etc. That truck ran 11.5 at the AAB all day long, and the have it even faster now. And that is at around 2000' over sea level. Matts truck is a dual turbo 12 valve that has seen the mid 10's. Both Barrys duallys (one is a 06 mega the other is a 03 quad) in the mid to low 12's all with 66's.

I find that kindof funny my trucks seems to run perdy good with the silver bullet on it at the end of the track on #2 only on my best run of 12.29 it only hits 1450. Care to explain that one to me????????? Oh ya 4 door short bed 3500 too.

Ya I'll explain. I said a 66 will be maxed out going through the quarter before you get in the 11s on fuel only. What kind of temps will you let your truck get to before you get concerned?

I saw where Tim Barber posted he had maxed out his Silver Bullet...
Can anyone tell me their temps on a fuel only common rail that runs 11.99 or faster with a 66?

I've already replaced one head that was cracked to pieces... Every shop I talked to said it was from high ex. temps. I'll take their advice and put a bigger turbo on.

Run a Silver Buller for now, then add a big brother later and lots of fuel
