My friend has a stock 03 Furd 6.0 *been in the shop twice for oil leaks*. What will it take for me too beat him. I'm stock cept for straight pipe which should make no performance gains. Would a EDGE EZ give me the "edge"? Sorry I couldn't resist.

Edge EZ would be a good start. Just remember to put an EGT gauge in your truck before doing it, cause your exaust temps are going to be high running hard against a 6.0. Is his rig stock? -Steve

 

You got the SO or HO? We had a Ford 6.0 take a new Cummins 600 in the quarter mile at the track a couple weeks ago. They were both stock. The Ford didn't whoop him bad, but he did whoop him. If you have the 03 SO with the EZ, I'd say it will be close. Too close to call. If you have the HO, then yeah, the Edge would put you out front by a little as long as he is stock.

All you need is a quart or two of oil, Just have a friend stand off to the side and wave the oil at the Ferd and it will go it because it thirsty

 

Tell him best four out of five! He'll crap a rod before its over!

if you got a hand shaker, and he has a slushbox torqueslip, you'll need lots of help. if it is vise versa, the 6.0 has no torque down low and you can power brake to build boost and launch hard

 

With an Edge EZ on my 04 (not 600) on level 4, an AFE-w-Proguard 7 and a straight pipe my 2X4 QC ran a 15.2 at a legit drag strip (whooped an 04 Hemi BTW) I can't see the ford doing this.
