since u got a 6 speed, all ya'll need is a better clutch. they range from about $500-1200.

and a short throw shifter would be nice but not necessary.

that's correct, it's not a good idea to leave the 180 hp setting on all the time. even if u had upgrades it's still not a good idea to use to highest setting all the time. it's fine to use and use frequently but not ALL the time.

your stock clutch should be good on the 100 hp setting for a while, if u can resist the temptation to floor it alot

If the tach is going up and not the MPH then your slipping. For that matter it can be slipping some and still accelerating.

"is the clutch slippage the feeling when you floor it and it acts like the rear tires bust loose, but they don't?"

yup that's the clutch slippin, if the engine is reving and your not moving but the tires arn't spining, something's gotta give,

razor, look into south bend clutches, they seem to be a very popular choice for the 6 speed guys. u gotta know which tranny u have before, since 05's had NV5600's and G56's. the way to tell is NV5600 have reverse up and to the right; G56 down and to the left.
