4wheelparts has a 20% off sale going on, so I called them this morning to get a price on a set of ProComps.
Sale? What a joke! The tires were on sale for $119.39 X 4 = $477.56. By the time they added all of the taxes, mount and balance, SHOP FEES ($150), warrenty, etc they came to a total of $722.03. $60 for warrenty....OK I guess, but $90 for M&b and $150 shop fee sent me elsewhere. Good price on the tires, but by the time they add the extras they're too high priced for me.

Mine are a little larger than you specified - 315s - but they were very inexpensive compared to the BFGs, ProComps, Nittos, etc. I like them a lot so far, but won't have a final opinion until it snows. I think they will do very well. Dry and wet I am very happy. See my sig and pictures.

The Nitto are not loud at all....at least not the Terra Grapplers. They are much quieter than my Bridgestones I had on last vehicle.
I have the 295 Nitto Terra...bought 5 of them offline for $850. Cost me $100 to get mounted and balanced...and I take them back every 4000 miles for balance and rotation for another $32.00.
Great tires...great load rating of over 3000lbs each....and fill fender nicely with stock suspension and wheels...yo ucan see them in my gallery. Everything I read said the Terra Grapplers were better than the BFGs....and with them being 295 you can get your odometer adjusted to calculate for the 285 they put on the Powerwagon and not be too far off on your mileage and speedo...as it is not possible to change the stock ECM without an aftermarket tuner like Superchip or Smarty.
My Terra Grapplers have been on for 3 months now and have good wear...good handling on highway....good traction in sand and light mud...not tried any gumbo mud yet but if I was going in that regularly I would get the Mud Grapplers instead but they are noisier on road and wear faster.
I dont think you can go wrong with the 295 Terra Grappler and there are plenty of others that can attest to that. Were not too hard to balance and I am smooth up to 75mph as long as I rotate them and get them redone every 3-4k miles.
Good luck...
