You pull your air filter out of the airbox and get a hole saw and drill a bunch of holes in the bottom of the air box. This will give you better airflow. Some have even drilled a 4" hole in the bottom and installed dryer venting and made a homemade Ram Air setup. Just don't try drilling holes in the top of the airbox!!!!

Holes in the bottom of the box - be careful!!
I had originally used a 1 inch hole saw and drilled between the ribs in the bottom of the air box. About 20 holes I believe. It's easy to take the air box out, however if you don't pleasse be careful and don't puncture the a/c line under the box. Just my 2 cents worth.

Look at the little squares in the bottom of the box and try to use a hole saw or regular drill bit that fits inside the squares or you may end up with a mess on your hands.

For you "cheap skates" (just kidding, I did my box to but have a Scottys 5 now) dont forget to remove the small rubber deflector next to the pass headlamp that connects to the AC condensor. (unless you live in snow country).

with only the swiss cheese mod, i shaved at least a couple seconds on the 1/4mile, I was at like low 12s with 1/2in holes and mid 11s with the 1in holes so then I decided to forget everything and make on GIANT HOLE, now im bordering 10s. SWEET MOD!!!!
