What size F1 injectors for 2003?
Does anybody know what size F1 sticks I would need to get 650 - 700 hp on a 2003 truck with only a smarty for electronics? I think that is my HP goal and am thinking of pulling the pin on some sticks and various supporting parts. I am looking for a definate dyno proven answer if anybody has one.
Thanks in advance

Are you positive 3.3's will do it? I don't like doing stuff twice ... done it too many times before Other than the injectors I was thinking of contacting MPI about the twins, duel cp3's from ?, studs, & some F1 springs are on my shopping list as well. I am selling my NSX due to kids, dogs & just plain it being not practical 95% of the time, so I figure the truck must fufill the cars fun factor now. Am I missing anything else on my list?

I think that was Ot-of-Here... not sure; but he has 04.5 up engine... doesn't count for this discussion...this is an 03.
Talking with Don on this exact subject... and realizing that all trucks and the mods that go on them give different results, he was thinking 3.5 would ensure 700. He also said water was a must (or at least very strongly recommended) to keep internal cylinder temps down. I think with the properly matched mods and properly tuned, 3.0 at a minimum might get the job done, 3.3-3.5 will.

Several trucks with a Flux 2, good twins, and a Smarty TNT have cracked 650with a single pump.
MPI twins set up with a SD480 on the bottom, twin pumps, and a TNT Smarty will produce 700 easily with a Flux 2 in an 03. For a little more power, you could do a 2.5.

At what flux level will you be getting into the high "gotta watch everything" egt temps?
Cold diesel and I have about the same setup and goals it looks like, I am just not sure how big you can go with the 62/71/13ss without getting too hot/keeping it a daily driver/tow'r?

My list of upgrades that are "in the mail" as we speak are:
MPI twins w/ S480
Springs
Helix 2 cam
studs
Evil twin CP3's
F1 3.3's
And I can let you know what it does once it all gets stuffed in and I get a chance to do some dyno time

On the 03 trucks, I doubt Flux 3 injectors and a Smarty will do it. You need a TST also. If you add a TST it can be done with Flux 2 or 3. You'll need some more turbo. That thing will be hating life. My truck did 870 on a Super B Special.... that poor thing had so much exhaust pressure.
