I blew out my rear plug at 3300 rpm running my smarty tnt on setting 3. I went with a block plate with an oring that replaces the plug that flew out. It also has a relief valve and hose connected back to the rad hose. It would be a lot harder to install if your freezeplug is still in. But after the thought it was a simple 1 hour fix. This system was $265 delivered from EPP. But if you are going to play it safe and put one in beforehand I think the opies kit would be alot easier to install. When mine blew i heard it hit the road with my window down so i pulled over to check, temps got hot fast because the stream of coolant was onlt about 80' long and it was dry that fast. Do it now!

Yeah. I talked to Tim today over PM's, and he said that he had a couple on the shelf.
Better hurry, that's info that does not get out much. When I talked to him, he said that there were 2-3 on the shelf, and he would hold one for me if I asked him, that they went fast or somethin...
I think (could be wrong) that's why he does not advertise them.
Dun dun DUN!!!
Tell him that I told ya, maybe he'll hook you up. No promises, tho...

Ok I have be thinking about this for a while now. And my ? is why does the valve need to be temp Sensitive valve why not just use a presure relief valve? I mean its not like the valve will be subject to constant flow of coolant. What i mean by that is it would take longer and still probley never be accurate for the coolant temp to trigger the valve to open.
