What next fella's?

See my sig below..........What should I do next? Ive been told to get rid of the banks, but I dont know if I can sell it, and I cant take that big of a loss. Im looking to go big, but it will take me a while. What should I do next, injectors,VB, TC, rokktech sensor, intercooler, or turbo? or would you guys just bite the bullet and get a new chip? I just put exhaust on, so what to do now?

What next

Trying to build a truck with power when you have the auto tranny means you really have NO choice. You've got to build your tranny to support anything and everything else you'll do. You'll see/feel a nice power increase since you'll be able to put the power to the ground.

Howdy Dallas Neighbor!

I second what OT-of-Here says about the tranny. If you want to go big you have to do the whole thing and do it right. Not just a TC and VB.

PM me if you want the number to a highly recommended local transmission guy for our trucks. I have spent several hours talking to him in person and by phone and have driven two different trucks with trannies built by him. I was impressed. I am just waiting on the funds to do mine.

You should probably be considering a better fuel supply pump....Wallbro, FASS or something better than stock.

What about turbo? How BIG are you going to go? Have you considered twins?

I am kinda new to all this bombing stuff, but from what I have learned on here from talking to others and reading thousands of posts on this site is that you need to do foundation stuff first.........then add the power. Power adders are easy. But without the foundation of fuel supply/air/getting it to the ground.....then you are spinning your wheels. Figuratively, not literally.

You should come to our next North Texas Local DTR group get together. Here is some info and pics from previous events. You can click on the pic of the black truck to see one of my dyno runs at Emory last Saturday. Next event is May 20th at Redline Raceway in Caddo Mills.

How do neighbor,
Ive never been to redline, but have been wanting to go. I always pass it by when going to the lake and/or the motocross track. I would like the name and number of the local tranny specialist if you can? Would this shop be better than getting the imfamous fully built DTT, or just as good? Also what time do the races start? I would love to come and race with my banks six gun to see how bad it really is!

........Anyhow I will probably start with something like the tranny or a fass if that is what would be smart. I just dont know what the Fass will do in the mean time while waiting for more mods. Will it help any with my current situation?

Boss- Get the trans done. Go with a TC and VB at the very least. You will notice a dramatic difference with these two mods. It is crazy how much power is being lost through the stock trans.

Boss,

He does DTT. I sent you a PM.

I don't think you can wrong building tranny or upgrading the fuel system regardless of your current power. It should make the power you currently make feel like more by putting it to the ground.

Monitor the thread on N. Texas DTR May Event and it should provide you with all the info about Redline.

Hope that helped!
