Question What lift should I go with 6 or 8in?

I have an 07 MegaCab dually that I would like to lift. I am looking for other a 6 or 8in lift to clear 37 or 38in tires. I would like to go with dual shocks in the front and rear. Change the truck from a dually setup to a single wheel. Which wheels do you all recommend for the off set or should I use spacers? I called 4wheelparts and they recommended Superlift 6in suspension with up graded Bilstein reservoir shocks. If you all could help me with some info that would be great. Thanks.

a lot of guys on here will recommend superlift. rize makes the only 8" kit i would buy. with that height pretty much any wheel with a backspace of 4.5" or more will fit.

Thanks Bob for the info. I've been looking at TopGuncostumz and they seem to have pretty good setups.

Just be careful with TopGunCustomz. I have been getting alot of run around on shipping actual items with them. I have ordered 3 times with them and never got the right items shipped, or in what I would consider shipped in a timely manner. Right now still waiting for front shocks, after mine literally snapped in half, that I ordered on Tuesday of last week. Was told they would be to me by Friday, called this morning after not getting them and the shocks are still sitting in Tennessee........

That's how they roll.

I can't see them having too many repeat customers based on the comments on multiple forums. My personal experience with them could be turned into a made for TV movie.
