I have an '06 MegaCab Dually 4x4 6-speed. I currently have a 4" exhaust as the only modification. Upgrades that I just ordered include the DiabloSport Predator programmer, the Quadzilla Boost Fooler (to keep my EGT's lower) and a S&B Cold Air Intake. I plan on running the Predator on the +100hp economy setting. Any thoughts or comments on these upgrades? Do you think I'll see any MPG's increase? And will I be alright without guages?

 

I had a Preator on my 04.5. It made good power, but I can't really say it did anything much for mileage, but I can't remember for sure. I do know that it can make EGT's alittle toasty. I would seriously advise you to atleast run an EGT gauge with it. Since you'll be running a boostfooler, a boost gauge may be a good idea to be sure your not over spinning the turbo. Gauges are always a good idea IMO.

 

get gauges! i wouldn't run my truck stock without a pyro so i could monitor my egt's, much less with a programmer that's adding another 100 hp.

 

Good advice guys. I'll get guages ASAP. Do you think this combo will show some good performance improvements?
