What kind of mods can a stock clutch take?
I have a friend with an '06 and was wondering how far we could go on a stock clutch. Let me know what some of you 6spd. guys are running.
Thanks,
Adam

I'm running a Bully Dog D/L stacked with an Edge EZ.
BDDL on tow and EZ on 3...I can make the clutch slip at will.
For me any BOMB that adds around 90RWHP will slip it.

My friend has the identical truck to mine, and he runs the Bully Dog Power Pup, mostly on Performance, but has run the Extreme settings as well. He also has a Magnaflow muff, stock clutch has held up with no problems as of yet. He does not dump the clutch, or launch in 3rd gear either as some do

The 100hp baseline is the one I have heard. Most of the ones I have dealt with switch to either a South Bend or Luc clutch setup if they are going over 100hp additional.

I slipped mine with a e-break/boost build with my Quad race on 140. Other than that I’ve DUMMPED my clutch on 140 in second and she’s held every time. Musta’ got a good one (or my rear main seal is still holding!).
