What is the Ideal Stack?
My truck is currently stock and i am looking to do some stuff here soon. First off will be exhaust, intake, and gauges. Ive been reading a lot about the TST and i know its a good box along with the BBDL with the CLDL, can these two be stacked? Are these two a good stack for a truck without injectors and a bigger turbo? I will be eventually getting into a bigger turbo/injectors and ofcourse a converter. I want to get something that i can use now and then grow into even more as i upgrade the truck. Of course im looking for as much power as i can get out of it. I do not tow at all. I just got rid of my vette for this truck and i love it, but needless to say i am a power nut. So, if anyone can give me some guidelines as what to look for or look into Id appreciate it. Or give me your current setups and power. Also if someone wanted to take the time to explain the whole stacking boxes i would appreciate it. Exactly what you get out of each one. I know a decent amount, just not on the Cummins yet....Thanks guys, Jason

To stack a TST and a BDDL.....on a stock turbo is like playing with fireworks.
The TST by itself on a stock turbo, can and has launched quite a few turbos.
Also don't forget, with that stack, your tranny is going to be crying for mercy if its a auto, and clutch will be doing the same if its a auto.
But yes, you can stack them, as well as a triple stack with a Edge EZ into the mix.

Not to hijack this thread but would stackin the tst, bddl, and ez be any better than a tst and mp8? Topper, could the near 500 horse with tst and mp8 be achieved with a ps 62?

so basically i should get the TST and run it at low settings. Then when i upgrade to a torque converter and a new turbo then i can add the BDDL CLDL and be set. Then throw some injectors on later...

I would get the TST with guages in it. then throw the mp-8 at it. would not do the BDDL just because they share parameters. can be done but I would not do it.
tranny mods are a must. fuel sytem and turbo upgrades will be needed to achive full potential.
the tst/mp-8 just give you one timing/duration box and one fuel pressure box.
