Thanks brett, yall still aflot down there? Looks like your area got pounded by that tropical storm. As for the float dont forget your 16qt coolers, thats the biggest one we could take on the water (so we had 2-3 coolers for a little group). If the guadalupe is still closed from the rain the comal is just as good plus you can float it 2-3 times in a day.

Hey, you're lucky, my last fillup I figured I was getting 13.4 MPG (heavy foot though, and all city driving) best I've gotton was about 17, and that was at 80+ mph from LA to Sacramento. Don't know what I would get at 55 MPH on the freeway, probably never will. I have a 2005 automatic regular cab with a shell on the back. The only thing I have that isn't stock (besides my Quadzilla Commander) is the Smarty that I have set at 90 HP. I don't tow, and I travel light but with a heavy foot.
I've heard that the aftermarket cams can and do get a couple of MPG and lower EGT's, but it'd take a while to pay for the parts and labor by 2 MPG-need another reason, say- it's better for the engine, will make it last longer, save money-yeah, that's the ticket!
