What are good shocks to get?

My rear shocks have dents in them BIG time. What would be a good set to replace factory ones with? Rancho, Monroe?? Are the front inside the spring (strut) or are tehy seperate?

For the money you will get a lot of opinions here on Bilstein 5100's. It is what I will be getting.

Why do they have dents in them? Here is a very recent thread on the shock topic.

I like my bilstein 5100's so far, smoother ride, definetly a good upgrade, you could put the 5150's on the rear.
