What to expect from XZT, Water/Meth or Propane injection on an 06 Cummins
Folks,
I placed this post on the towing forum but I belive it is more appropriate for the experts in this forum.
I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 With the Cummins 600 Diesel. As fuel prices are again rapidly approaching $3 gal I'm sure all of us are having a renewed interest in what can be done to improve the mileage on our diesels. I tow a 6000lb RV thus I'm good to go in the power department but mileage is always a concern.
Based on my research thus far it would appear that the Xzillaraider XZT may offer MPG benifits as well as a bit of performance as well.
The other performance mods that I have been researching are Water/Meth or Propane injection. Although these systems are readily available from various manufacturers I don't seem to be able to find much first hand information as to their actual value.
If you are running either a Water/Meth or Propane injection system, and would like to share your experiences with these systems, I would like to hear from you.
Thanks
Jerry K

Don't have propane. I'd like to try water/meth injection in the future. What I do have is the xzt. You might get additional mileage out of this box. I say "might" because it's hard to keep your foot out of the throttle once you get used to the "pull" you feel after around 1800rpms...
It's a good mild power addition. And once you get bitten by the power bug, you're gonna be in trouble.... this thing is an addiction...
