On a cold day, I like to wait for the grids to complete their cycle before I go. I use the BH all the time now since overnight temps are under 40. I'm getting the high idle this week, so I'll use that while the grids are running and then take off...

I let mine idle until the intake air heater quits cycling. Usually about 1 to 2 mins. dependent on how cold it is outside.

Its been getting in the mid 30's lately and I go out and start it up, come back in for a few minutes and tell the dogs bye LOL then I leave...
