The guy I spoke with at DTT said that he wouldn't even SELL me a billet intermediate shaft if I wanted one. He said that the intermediate shaft requires a bit of twist and billet doesn't twist. He said that out of 25 sold, 18 ended up sheared. He even was so bold as to call the stock intermediate shaft a "superior" design. Just my two cents.

same here. no intermediate but everything else...and it can hold enough power to spin 3 if not all 4 of my tires at a 15psi launch

I had a thread awhile back asking if a billet intermediate was even necessary. Reason being, I also called DTT and they seem to be shying away from the billet intermediates anymore. There were a few guys that had busted the stock intermediate, but they had some pretty serious power and were racing.

Yeah, I saw your videos, that's a pretty quick truck man. So you are pretty happy with your DTT, huh? I really liked their customer service. The guy I spoke with was pretty knowledgeable and sounded enthusiastic to answer my questions. But my favorite part of the near 30 minute conversation that we had was his honesty in telling me that the stock intemediate was more efficient than the billet rather than trying to get me to spend an extra $750-800 gave me the warm and fuzzies. LOL

[QUOTE=omaharam;1399378]400hp into the 13s with a max 10psi launch - on what planet? I don't think it's gonna happen below 475 and that's even iffy.

2003 Dodge (granted it was 2wdr) intake,Exhaust, valvebody, tc, pressureloc with our Xpower 130hp module 13.95 @91mph at Mission raceway park (planet Earth)

Our track here on a good day the air is about 800-1200ft BELOW sea level.

no nead on billet intermediate. 1st concern should be input. If all else fails big deal fix it. If input fails, carnage!

It's good that you have local installer. The closest guy to me that does DTT installs in out in Pheonix, AZ, unless I just misheard the fella from DTTs customer service. But if he recommends somebody by name, reckon he will get the nod from me. It's only a 5 hour or so drive afterall.

I appreciate everyones responses. I will be shopping around for the best combo. I will be looking for turbo, TC/VB, fuel upgrades, injectors, intake, and programmer. I have made some parts lists and come up with around 7500 with install. I also need a reputable shop within a few hundred miles of Shreveport, La. Any thoughts? Anyone have some name brands for my combo that I can research?
