I see what you're saying Zilla. Here's how i've come out:
PPE Xcelerator - $630
TST R49 - $560 (e-bay)
II Silver Bullet - ??? (Traded 20" wheel/tire combo for it)
SBC Con-FE - $900
AEM intake - $275
Straight pipe - $66
Guages - $215

I think the charger retails for about 2k. But it was used for about 8k miles, so I'm assuming it would be worth about 1500. Aside from the lack of head studs and a lift pump I would say i'm rather close to getting 500+. I just have some more money to spend. But i'll be around a little more than 3k after I get all of the mods I want.

Well, instead of buying just a clutch, which you don't have listed as an expense, I had to spend $2000 on the 48re tranny to hold the power. And while I hope you hit the 550 number you're looking for, you may or may not, and if you don't, you'll be forking over some more money for a cp3.

Mr Omaha, towards the middle you see $650 SBC Con OFE? That, my friend, would be a south bend clutch MU 1947 COn Ofe. i did list it as an expense. dont know why i would have to buy a Cp3, is there something wrong with mine?

My bad, guess being an auto I didn't know that was a clutch. So if you had an auto, you'd be $5300. Is the Hot programming on the SMARTY a free download? That's cool if it is.
There might not be anything "wrong" with your cp3. It just might not be able to keep up with that list of mods. Hey, if you hit 550hp for the money you got in it, great. But I also thought I was going to go from 502 to 600 and only hit 547.

from a DTR vendor that has since been banned. Lary at the DTR store has them for a good price too. Just call him.

The hot smarty isnt out yet, hope it is before I go up to BD. crossing my fingers. I have done the DIY cp3, and noticed alot more seat of the pants feel. we shall see if it is worth any top end HP later this month.

wow you guys are spending alot of money to make that power. i made it with a smarty and a set of injectors with a fass pump. and a little added pressure. nothing else. 555hp/1016tq all at the rear wheels.

i will see what a turbo and a clutch did for my set up on may 19TH. im sure its going to be alot closer to the 600hp range
