What do you think? New Tires/wheels/lift

Well after waiting three years for the warranty/tires to wear out and doing a lot of research on this site. I finally went ahead and installed a Tuff Country 4.5" lift with Bilstein shocks. I also added Hoss 20" black rims with Toyo 37.50x13.5x20 MT tires. I wanted to try and keep the tire tucked in as much as possible, not bad they only stick out a little and I will be adding flares next to tuck them in under the flares. I wanted to make it look like it came from the factory and also pass the tough NJ inspection, no tires sticking out allowed.

Also a very special thank you to cquestad, who helped me out tremendously during the lift install and leading up to the install with a ton of questions I had. I couldn't have done it without his help and everyone else that posts on this site. This is what this site is all about sharing and helping each other out.

What do you guys think?

Thanks guys.

If you look closely up front under the bumper, all I had to do was trim a little of the plastic angling it towards the front. Cquestad had showed me this trick and he has the same lift and tire size. No other rubbing but then again it will never go offroad hard and get into any full lock. I'm sure there will br rubbing there.

Yup they definitely weren't cheap. The lift and shocks alone were $1000 and I installed it myself. I'm only a backyard mechanic but from what I heard from others any lift install is never fun. It did give me a great sense of pride when I finished it though.

The tires and wheels was a big drop in the bucket for me. I still can't believe I pulled the trigger on the purchase, hey you only live once that we know of and what good is it in the grave. We have no kids so the decision was a little easier knowing I don't have a college fund to save up for.

Thanks everyone. I had a hard time deciding if it was going to look good, you can't exactly return a set of wheels like this if you don't like them.....

Sharp, I am a big fan of black If I had a single tire thats what I would have mine set up like.

One thought, I dont know about your tint laws, if you care, or if you dont like tint, but to ME blackin out those front windows would tie that truck together a little more I think.

Either way, great lookin truck.
