Leave it in the garage! LOL! Just kidding! Is it a 04 or an 04.5. I have a 04 with 315's, 6spd, and 373 and average over 18 unloaded. I am happy with this for such a capable truck! Like He said just do a search and good luck.

We have had great sucess with the Edge EZ and an AFE Intake. Most have reported about 2-3 MPG....but i would say ave around 1-2...if its better.....great! I would at least replace the muffler with 4" high flow.....or go 4" exhaust.....the muffer is very restrictive....just the muffler replacement alone will probly get you about a mile......just from what i have seen from my cust's trucks.
If its a 600......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Remember, the 2004.5 come stock with a 4 inch exhaust. So, what people usually do is replace the muffler, see recent posts re: Donaldson mufflers, and others. It doesn't sound like this usually gets you much improvement. From what I've read, the air inflow is the better route.

If your considering things like a tonneau cover or topper to help with aerodynamic drag it will help with cruise fuel economy. Ther is a message posting in the 2nd gen no drivetrain forum talking about tonneaus with a lengthy discussion on increasing fuel economy based on aerodynamics and includes a link to research done by cummins on their big rigs.
None aero, look into timing chip, exhaust, intake, proper tire pressure, and a light foot should get you close to if not into the 20's
