Ok, Im thinking that I need to get rid of one or more of my chips/downloaders, so that I can get either the TST and or Smarty.

So...Ive got the bdpp, and Quad race box. I have the 04 305/555 cTd, right now I have a stock tranny and fuel system. I will be upgrading both very soon, so just wondering which I should get rid of, or to keep? Im wondering if either of my chips will work with the smarty or tst?

I know they stack pretty good by themselves, but what would be a wise decision? Cquestad? Someone?

I really dont want to get rid of the Quad, I guess I should refrase that. What chip would work better with the Quad, TST or Smarty?

I would get the timing taken off the quad and get a tst and run all three like cquested said. If you dont think you are totaly satisfied get or try a smarty and see if you like it better than the bd. Or try an mp8 or ez instead of the quad but I bet if you get the tst/quad/bd you will be happy.

After talkin to some of the kind folks on this web site I would get the tst latest version r49 with all the options FIRST and then go from there.

Well on my truck the tst+bddl+ramifier does pretty good. I tried a smarty in place of the bddl and my truck would pop and crack and miss at wot under load. I'm not downing the smarty, my brother has a smarty with a tst, and it does very well, my truck just didn't like it, at least not the way i had it set. Just my experience, hope it helped alittle.-Justin

if i was you, i would ditch the Quad. nothing against Quad, just not good for a TST stack. Keep the Bully, trade the Quad for a TS MP8, and buy a TST.

on second thought, I have an EZ i am wanting to get rid of. I'll trade you my EZ and $x for the Quad....ofcourse this is pending if you have an 04.5?

Well no, I have the dang 04 555, but thats ok. So I dont think your eZ will work will it? Cquestad was saying that once you remove the timing off of the Quad, that it will work pretty good. BDPP, Quad Race w/ no timing, and TST. That is what they are saying is good. However, I wonder if the Mp8, or Ez would work better?

Yes... I just havent come across the $$ yet for the Tranny. I am trying to figure out how much power Im after before I get the tranny done. I just want to make sure and do it right the first time. Its looking like Im gonna need a fuel pump first though. Mine is rattleing and knocking so It might go soon! Which in turn will give me too much hp and blow my tranny up, so Im kinda needing to hit the lottery!!!

We have a "TST" flash that works extremely well with the TST or the Juice modules as well as other things. I can promise you it is light years ahead of an EZ even for stacking. I cannot comment on the MP8 as I have not messed with it.

If you need it flashed just let us know we are only a day away from you.

haha i feel ya. tell James Phil sent you from DTR....he can build a heck of a tranny.

yeah i know what they said about removing the Timing....which would probably work....but its not a proven stack.....yet anyway.

about the pump...DON'T go FASS....just my 2 cents, i have one.

get a Quad Boost Fooler for that Crazy Larry...i have one and LOVE it. mine is a beta version, they should release soon.

Quad please chime in and update us.

I dont really like the idea of the boost fooler, im going to use my stock turbo for my twin setup and dont want excessive wear on it.
