What to buy next injectors or turbo

Dont know what to buy next. Just upgraded the lift pump with a air dog 150. Would like to buy what ever would benefit me the most. It is a daily driver and I do tow a boat that weighs about 10K. Any suggestions on what size and brand of injectors and size and brand of a turbo. I would like to get in the 12's. We dont have a drag strip here and dont know how fast it can go now, anyone with a similar set up has any idea on how fast you can go with this set up?

How are your EGTs with your current setup?

Turbo for sure. you will enjoy it much more than injectors. Injectors will make things more toasty (egt) to the point were your turbo will just be pushing hot air back threw.

Turbo before injectors!! you have a smallish turbo that is fine for stock power. Once you put injectors in of any size, say over 40-50 hp and try to tow in hot weather you will find you now have to buy a turbo yesterday when egts go through the roof! And fuel upgrades too! As long as you are desiring to get to 12's with an 04 anyway, there will be a lot of bombs involved. Do it once and do it right, you will save $$$ and broken parts and heartache in the long run. You will need injectors eventually in any case, get the turbo to suit your needs and then you will have plenty of air as you go up in power. You know, from a stock 04, a smarty on upper levels alone will get you into the high egt range, let alone injectors.

If you go with injectors you will only be able to use probably either the quad standard or just the smarty on a low # sw setting. You should be in the low to mid 13 area right now a small set off stixs like a DDP 50 and a HTT 62/71/14 or II SPS 62 will work in your setup this size stixs with the right psi from your lift pump your stock cp3 should be able to keep a decent psi and will let this size turbo keep things cool enough any larger turbo you will have some towing issues. This stuff with your stuff you already have should net you a high 12 second pass imo.

My EGTS max is no more than 1300. I have my quad standard on max and the smarty on #8. The truck does not smoke that much either.

I would upgrade the Quad box to the new style that can be updated through a USB cable. Get the Race Prog and add a turbo. I did it the other way and its ok but I think it would be better to have the turbo first as I only run my box on the 30 HP setting now.

Get injectors first then you will be able to tell your wife you "have" to have a turbo and stage 2 cp3 so your truck will run. That's what I did. So far it's working like a charm.
