If you read into that test between trucks, you'll also notice both Ford and Chevy had 4.10 gears and the Dodge only had 3.73's. Not a true side by side test if you ask me. When I came through the Rockies in Colorado a few weeks ago, there wasn't a single vehicle; car/truck, loaded/unloaded that could pass me going up any hill I came to. While towing.around 8,000lb. But I know you're talking stock for stock right????

just this morning on i35 running in to work I had some dually ford come up on my butt, we were the only ones on the highway and I usually run in at about 65-70mph, he came up next to me and I saw he had a tuner and he punched it. I turned my edge up to 3 when he came up on me from behind and after he punched it, I punched it, got in front of him and layed some smoke for him, got up to 110 and let off, he was about 8 lengths back. so from 65-110 I pulled on him pretty good.

MY 04 6.0 had a stock exhaust, Visteon intake, ( F-250 cc, FX-4) I used the SCMT on level 2 which was performance mode. The Torqueshift tranny auto worked flawlessly ( wish I could say the same for the engine) and it would turn low 14's. The rpm's were up high though, compared to my Dodge's lower RPM power band due to torque management. I love my new 3500, but the Ford's are fast straight out of the box. The only prob i had with level 3 on the scmt ( which was crazy fast) it had crazy fast quick high egt's. Bottom line May; is get what you are comfortable using your right foot with. edge/w attitude????
