It appears that Westin does NOT make an OVAL wheel-to-wheel step bar.

They do make a 91" oval step bar. Has anyone installed a 91" on their QUAD CAB 4x4??

I like the wheel-to-wheel design BUT I would rather have the wider 4.25" OVAL tube versus the 3" tube.

 

I have the Westin ovals, not sure what length they are. These are my second set, the first set I had to send back after about 1 1/2 years, the chrome was peeling and bubbling. They sent me a new pair, no charge and a shipping label to send the old ones back. Take a look in my gallery for photos.

If I were to do it again, I'd take a harder look at the PUTCO 4" wheel-to-wheel step bars. They are a little more costly, but I sure like the look of them, plus they're wheel-to-wheel.

I've read numerous reviews here on-line about PUTCO and the overwhelming amount said they were JUNK. Plastic end caps, poor quality, not fitting right, etc.

The Putco look good BUT I think they are overpriced, especially with the amount of complaints against them.

 

I'm not real happy with the mounting quality of the Westins. I am a big guy and they sure are'nt H.D. They would be ok for a 150lb guy though. If your big and jump up and down on them they will tweak the mounting hardware downward. At least on mine they will.
