A note states "Filler Panel Must Be Removed (If Equipped)". What's a "filler panel"? How do I know if my truck has a "filler panel"?

Also, wondering if the BB will hinder or prevent installing a front receiver hitch?

I have a westin BB on mine. What they must be talking about is the open strip in the bumper where you would have the tow hooks. When tow hooks are not installed they come with a plastic cover in the area.

The reason is that westin uses the tow hook holes to mount. If you want to put one on, you will have to loose your tow hooks.

 

Vont, thanks- that makes sense I guess - but why don't they just say "tow hooks must be removed (if equipped)"?

BYW, you have the exact same truck as me - what gas mileage are you getting? Loaded or unloaded? How many miles on your rig?
