I was wondering when a few others would dive in. I have 60k on mine now...A hard horsewhippin' 60k and it just seems to be more happy (like the engine) everyday.

I'm seriously thinking of upgrading the this turbo, cause I'll probably need it after John is done with my truck But, I still need to pull a trailer once in a while. How does it tow??? I'll be pulling around 8k once in a while.

I dont think this is really a towing turbo as it tends to surge here and there.

Whitesport, I hope you are getting a cam also.

Definitely getting the cam as well. A little surging doesn't bother me no more than I tow, the SP66 surges plenty, but I'm just worried about EGT's getting to high at towing speeds. I figure the A5k doesn't build boost until a higher RPM. I guess I'll just see how hard I'm pushing the SP66.

WOW....very impressive! Last week I got to see my very first pull here in MO. SO I dont know much about them being from TX, but i can say this: The 2nd gens ATE IT UP! The 3 3rd Gens that were there: 2 couldn’t get the sled moving, and one only made it 100'....after 3 tries. I know one of them have some $$$ in his truck. Good to see that your set up is working good for you! NO SMOKE!! Using every last ounce of HP our of that #2! Congtats! Great Vid!

There are some good 3rd gen common rail pullers out there.

You can tow with it...you just have to kep the rpms up a little and watch the EGT gauge. The faster you like to drive...the better!

Sweet! sounds alot like my current turbo, maybe a little worse.
Sounds like I'm gonna end up with one of these monsters.

I might know of one too. Sounds like alot of new pullers w/ 3rd gens are underestimating things a bit, like the fact that a single disc clutch ISN'T GONNA CUT IT!!!
