Well, I finally broke down.....
And got a triple guage pod for my guages!! I've had my trans temp and fuel pressure guages on the floor for a long time now. Perhaps you've seen my (Guage mount for tightwads) picture in my gallery. Anyways, my FP guage took a dump on me so I had to get a new one and good thing too. The old one has had problems since it was almost new and apparently it was always reading low. My FASS really puts out 18psi versus the 16psi the old guage was showing. I'm still running the Westach guages, because I'm still a tightwad , but I do have all white faced guages now. They match the factory guages in the day but at night they don't.....
What really sucks is that BOTH of the bolts holding my SRT-8 single guage pillar on were spinning inside the door pillar and I had to break it to get it off!!!!! What a STUPID design!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I did not take any pictures of it either. There's a thousand pictures of guage pods throughout this site....
If I had two more guages I think I would mount them behind the steering wheel on the column.....

I also straight-piped it today!! It sure is loud that first time you start it up that way. Now let's just see how the neighbors like it. It's definitely quieter than the two straight-piped Harleys up the street so....

It especially sounds loud hooked to a sled and hitting aound 2900-3000 RPM in second gear. I have been researching some exhuast info to see if I should go to a 5 inch with some sort of muffler for better flow. Diesel power mag. has an article in it this past week. I think I am still going to stick with what i got though.

my autometer phantom FP gauge stays pegged at 15 with my FASS 150...never moves unless fuel is low and then it will drop to like 2 or 3 and then shoot back up to 15 again.
does autometer make a gauge big enough for my application?

As for my defuel TQ management issue -no luck at all. BD anti defueler didnt help me So I am manually shifting every time I drag or pull. I got 4th place last night vs 18 trucks. Winners went 285' 2001 dually, 272' 2000 dually 247' 2003 shortbed quad and I went 244' One and two were bottle fed.

Dodgezilla,
Check out the autometer dash mount guage holder. It does not require that you take your eyes off the road and keeps the guages hidden from passers by(red lights in the rear view).
