Drains won't stop you from blowing black crap after a rain storm. The water will stop and sit in small beads, attached to the soot deposits, waiting for that first blast of exhaust to free them. 15 years of truck driving taught me that.

I use to own a Kenworth with miter cut pipes on it. Shooting the back of the truck with soot is just a fact of life when you run miter cut pipes. (I liked the miters better than the curved stack because the curves had a better perch for the water to sit on.

My brother had bull haulers on his old race truck, even with being parked in the shop with no driving in raid it would still blow black soot all over the truck, learn to live with it.

Thanks for the info! I will be doing black stacks that are fairly shiny. Not glossy but it has a nice shine to it.

I will just deal with the black soot. Everything is covered, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.
