Looking for satisfaction levels from you guys on water injection setups. I am want to know your opinions on the completeness and the fit and finish of the kits you purchased and adjustability of the injections rate.

I feel it would be a nice addition for my truck as I use it to tow a lot in the mountains of Idaho and could benefit from the cooling effect of the water injection.

Snow Performance makes a good kit, from what I have seen, easily adjustable, the size of the jets you want to run, 1 or 2 jets, etc, etc.

I think it would be good for you if you tow heavy in the mountains

I have a Snow stage 2 and it is a good system...lowers EGTS allowing you to inject more fuel plus you get more power from the water. Great for towing the hills. The stage 3 cues off EGT's and/or boost. The stage 2 cues off boost. You will use alot more water on the stage 2 but this will provide more power for only the cost of water. I used to use water/meth but I don't need the fuel so water is good. Get a large container....at least 8 gallons or use a 6 gallon fuel can in the bed and pipe it to the intake. When I was making big power with the twins....when the water led turned on it was like afterburners kicking in and the EGTS would drop. I think Lary on this site's DTR store sells the Cooling Mist and it is a great setup. Everyone should have a water injection system just for the security of keeping the EGT's in check. ks
