wat is the grid delete kit

wat is the grid delete kit

I have seen the grid delete kit and I am curious as to wat that really does and wat does it gain thank you

It takes the heater element out of the intake horn where it is mounted to the intake of the head. For a mildly modified truck I don't think it will gain you much at all.

Spooler is correct that eliminating the grid on a stock to lightly modified truck will net very little. (none that you'll be able to quantify)
The intake horn (elbow as you put it) however can be changed.

This was tested to good success a few years back at Left Coast Diesel.

The one that performed best was the CFM +. The close second was the horn provided by Glacier Diesel for those that don't trust the CFM plastic.

Either of those two choices provide significant torque gains down low and a little bit of HP gain up high. They also fatten the power curve in a good way.

Cool thanks I was thinkin bout changing tht and putting 4 inch exhaust back on it has 5 on it now I think its not helping it much but I dont know

A 5 inch turbo back exhaust will degrade low end performance-- especially on a stock/close to stock truck. For the average Joe, 4 inch is perfect.
