Warning if you have drilled holes in air box....
I did mine a couple of months ago and about one month ago I put in a new stock air filter. Well, today I went to pass a tanker truck and my foot went to the floor but the truck would not go any faster! It would idle fine and drive fine under normal acceleration but if I put my foot into it it would fall flat on it's face. The first thing I figured was that the fuel filter may be clogged but it is also fairly new. I decided to check the air filter and it was black from all the crap coming off the roads with this bad weather we've been having. I put a new filter in and put duct tape over the holes and now it runs like normal again.
I had been thinking about those holes at the bottom of the air box ever since it started snowing and I just knew my filter was gonna get filthy! I just hadn't come up with a good filter for the holes yet.....

I just have the liners that come from the factory. They don't cover the engine bay though.
My filter minder was showing a loss of 65% which is what this truck always shows..
I was thinking about taking an old pair of pantyhose and stretching them over the bottom of the box to help keep some of the crud out. Hmmm, I wonder if I have a pair that I don't need...
Yes, I'm just kidding......

I don't know how big the hols are, but something like this might work:

Basically, you drill 1 inch holes and snap in these filters. Most commonly used on motorcycles.

I drilled a couple of extra holes in my air box. You can see them in my Members photos. Driven about 4000 miles like this, thru rainy days also, with no problems.
