I have nothing to offer other than I just installed the glacier system and I think it is great. easy install, quiet, and has great pressure with room to expand with the kit they sale. It was one of my best mods to date.

I have not run a mechanical pump...that was going to be my next step...before the Walbro. But I now see no need.

Walbro's list of permitted liquids includes diesel...so I am not sure how it is "adapted"?

Walbro was originally made for gas. Seals were adapted I imagine. To each their own. I have no negative feedback about Walbro.

Adapted seals? Sounds like a sales pitch...original seal...they are not modified in anyway by anyone...they just so happen to be "approved" for diesel. Call them (Walbro)...and ask.

I can go down to my local parts store and pick up a 125 buck Walbro and pump diesel with it till the cows come home....4000 more times.

5psi is normal for a bone stock truck, but if you want more than stock power you will need more than 5psi.

5 psi is 5psi no matter how modified you are. As long as there isn't zero pressure or a vacum you have enough fuel supply going to the cp3 as the cp3 will suck as much as it needs. So if it's not sucking enough to drop the pressure to a vacum there is enough fuel.

You make a good point though but I personally wouldn't worry about it until the pressures got lower unless I was going to be doing more Hp increases in the near future. Then again I guess that's what my fuel pressure guage would tell me if I needed more or not.

Just installed airdog and wasnt much of a price diffrence between it and walpro. Was impressed with airdog even supplied zip ties to tie up the new 1/2inch fuel line.

OK...you stick to your 5psi and I will to my 30...and we will meet at the track or dyno!

OEM, Stage 1,2,3 pumps run BETTER with more than a falling 5 psi...plus it is a great oppurtunity to run an aux filter down to 2 mic.

I guess 15 psi MAINTAINED is best for dual pumps...

Do something...5 psi stinks.

I have the FASS with filters on my '06 and my dad has a FASS HPFP pump only on his '02 and we are both very happy with their performance, and a both are very quiet, the only time you hear them is when the key is on and the engine is not running.

I have no opinion on the Walbro or Airdog as I have never used either nor seen them, other than on the net.

Use what ever you feel comfortable using and can afford they all do about the same thing.

Do me a favor next time your on the dyno. Tune your Walbro down to 5 PSI at Wide Open Throttle and see what your HP/TQ numbers are.

The person who started this thread said he has 5 PSI at WOT.

I'am not talking starting out with 5 PSI and then doing a WOT run.
