Wade vs Weathertech Vent Visors
I am looking to put on some In-Channel Vent Visors, so I have been doing some searching. I see where Weathertech gets good reviews, but are they $50 better than the Wades ? Anyone running the Wade Vent Visors ?

I had weathertechs on my last truck and my current truck. Fit is great and never had one issue with them. Customer service was great. They sent me the wrong fronts. After I called them they had the right ones out to me right away along with return shipping for the wrong ones. Definitely a higher quality product than any of the other vent visors I've seen.

Christmas 2 years ago, I bought a set of AVS in-channel vent visors similar in design to the Wade models for my father's '05 Ram. Within the first week, he had busted both the drivers and passengers side front door visors. The problem with this design is that they don't extend all the way down to the bottom of the window in the front of the door. When the windows are rolled down, since they are in-channel visors, they tend to slide inwards and get in the path of the window when it rolls back up. The window catches it, and they bust. I replaced them with a set of Weathertech's. They extend all the way down the base of the mirrors in the front window channels. Since they sit on the weatherstripping at the base of the door, they cannot slide inwards and get in the path of the window. They have worked flawlessly since then. Since that set, i replaced the stick-on vent visors on my S10 ZR2 i had with Weathertechs, bought a set for my brother's Chevy Colorado company truck, and had a set at my house for my '08 Ram before I even took delivery of the truck. They were installed about 5 minutes after the truck got home.
Another thing i noticed was that the Weathertech's seemed alot more pliable than the AVS brand. The plastic is more willing to bend without breaking, which means they will last longer. I love them and won't put another vent visor on a vehicle i own. They really make a top notch product.
