Would over 1000lb/ft of torque to the rear wheels at 1500rpm be enough bottom end?

Don't buy into the things you hear from folks like TSTPRODUCTS, they are trying to sell you stuff. The dyno sheet they show you is for a 305/555 motor not the one you have. Plus it is from them not a outside source. They are all about selling products not telling you the what the real word really is. I am not trying to start a shouting match but we all know that they as well as all vendors ar abot selling their product......................................

I'm with John on this one. TST has never shown themselves to be anything but honest about the products that they sell. In many cases, their cam plates were even under-rated somewhat.

scarabj,
I have a Volumizer 0-60-100 that hooks up the same way yours does. Since I bought mine specifically to help fuel mileage, I run it on the 60 hp setting. I was told that it uses timing only on the 60 hp setting. I have not yet got enough miles on the box to get a true mileage reading but I can assure you the timing starts to advance somewhere around 1300 rpm. You can check by setting the cruise control so you are running at a low rpm (~1200 rpm) and switching for 0 to 60 hp. Nothing happens. Now do the same thing at 1400 or 1500 rpm and you feel a jump forward until the cruise control cuts back the speed.
Hope this helps.
