volant vs. k&n anyone?

volant vs. k&n anyone?
i want to get an air intake system mainly for the turbo whine and a little for performance but i dont want to spend $400 if its not necessary. yes ive read about k&n letting dirt through so on and so on. has anyone tried the volant cold air intake? any info will help. thanks

The Volant has more insulation around the filter than K&N. My brother had K&N on his 2004.5 then got the Volant. He said it sang more and better response.
