Volant Cold Air Intakes???
Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the following :
16759 - 03-07 Cummins
16559 - 05-07 HO Cummins
I'm wondering if there's any major difference because the one I got(16759) doesn't fit very well. Maybe I got the wrong kit???

I was trying to figure it out.. I looked at both instructions and they both had the same part number on them #16759.. I have no clue, i have 1 on my 05 and it fit perfect..
My guess is its a typo maybe and one is for the 03-04.5 and one is for the 05-07's maybe, i'm just guessing..

I pulled this off another website...
- Part # VP16559
- Manufacturer: Volant Performance
- Application: 06-07 Dodge 5.9L Cummins HO

They sent me the wrong one then. I wonder what the difference really is because how in the world did I get the wrong one to fit in there???

I was calling around looking for one and the diffference I was told was that one is for the HO engine and the other is for the regular engine. I know that after certain year models there is no HO engine it's all the same. Good luck I got one coming in on Monday so I'll post back up to see what I get.

Yup, got the wrong one. The other on has a spacer to lift the air box up. No wonder it didn't fit very well!!! At least Davenport Racing is going to fix me up with the right one!!!
