Very pleased with TNT...
Just loaded up TNT this morning and have been driving around all day getting used to this beast!!!
I must say that this program, without a doubt KILLS 4.2. I can now roll into it @ 40mph and pitch it sideways with out a problem....I cant wait until my IISPS62 shows up so I can let it all hang out!!!
Settings so far which seem to be awesome...
SW#9
TQ-4
TM-2
RP-2
SHIFT-OFF
WG-OFF
While driving around, I made some observations...
1. Throttle sensativity is at a all time high with this program. With 4.2 it was no where near this touchy....I LIKE!!!
2. Rail Pressure ramps and hovers around the same levels as 4.11, 65mph with cruise control on was 17.5K-20K, boost was b/t 5-7psi and EGT's were either side of 600*.
3. EGT's at 75% throttle were in the 1200* area
4. Smoke is at its highest with this set-up, kills 4.2 and old 4.06 in a HUGE WAY!!!
5. Low RP is common while rolling into it at less than 65% throttle, when the duration of the injectors is increased my RP drops down to 12K, but as soon as I get above 75% throttle my RP shoots up to 25K and never moves. I can see why some are running out of fuel while running low RPM's.
6. I made a post earlier in the week regarding the REVO (non-TNT), with regards to my 2-3 flair being really bad and the down shift RPM's sky rocketting....I DO NOT HAVE EITHER OF THESE PROBLEMS AT ALL WITH THE REVO TNT!!!! YEAH!!!!!
7. Dyno day in Dublin At TVP in June will be the day that I hope to break the 500hp mark or even get into the mid-500's....
8. MARCO, BOB, STEFAN, AND ALL OTHERS WHO MADE MY DREAMS COME TRUE
THANK YOU!!!!
There will be many Imports and even American vehicles around where I live going "HOLY CRAP, WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT!!!!!"

Not too sure yet, but looks like either the 1st or the 7th.
Here is a link to the thread we are all responding to, keep checking it out and Erik will have a updated day soon!!!

I downloaded the TNT last night. Had a little problem (I think) downloading it, as it said it was done at 2.88Mb. Anyway, I dumped that file and tried again and got the full program. I LIKE THIS PROGRAM!!! Great job Marco & Bob!
So far I have only tried the standard Smarty tunes #1 and #5 with no REVO adjustments. The throttle response is back, the low boost cruise smoke is gone, the timing rattle is less and the vibration/rattle behind the SBC DD in 5th gear of the G-56 is much reduced. The power is great on #5. SOP meter thinks it is stronger than 4.11 #9 on my truck (at least up to 3200 rpm's) and the power delivery is better too -- very linear on the throttle but you don't have to floor it to make something happen either. Just right for my taste.
I don't think I have the proper mods to try any higher settings on TNT (no valve springs, injectors, or fuel mods.) Only running stock turbo with just a swiss cheesed airbox. It doesn't seem to want to rev quite as freely as 4.4 did, which is fine by me. It has plenty of lower end grunt and if it starts to de-fuel a little at 3200 thats fine. It doesn't quit at that rpm, it just starts to power down a little. It doesn't drain the rail on #5 WOT at those rpms. No popping like 4.4 #9 did at WOT and 3500 in high gear. I'm sure #7 or #9 would take the revs instantly to 3500 but I just don't feel the need.
Response is very quick even at 4500 feet altitude, reminiscent of the original 4.06 softwares on #7 and #9, but less touchy at minimal throttle. Boost is about 36 or 37 psi max but it seems to be making the power 4.06 did at 10 or 15 psi less boost. Also, once turbo spools up smoke is minimal. Hardly even a haze at full boost. You can still lay a cloud if you lug it hard, but it almost needs to be intentional, not like the 4.06 sofwares.
Anyway, great program. I don't see how it could get any better, unless you could keep all of the great driveability it has now and get even better mileage to boot. Speaking of which, overhead lie-o-meter went from reading 19.5 with 4.11 to 20.1 in about 100 miles of mixed driving including a WOT blast to over 110 and several harder than normal accelerations. The balance of driving was cruise at 60 -65 mph in a 25-30 mph cross wind, which didn't lend itself to any mpg runs. Overall, very very pleased. Upgrade cost was right too!!
