Van Aaken Pressure Box

I have still not seen one person post about this box. I'm actually not even shure if many people know its available so I wanted to shed some light on it. Van Aaken is know for having great products and there pressure box is unique compared to others. The box actually piggybacks to the ECM, no map or fuel pressere connection. It maps the pressure against engine RPM, boost, and load. Looks like it would have very smooth power by design as compared to the other pressure boxes that just use the map and pressure sensors. Is anyone running one of these?

I was wondering about Van Aaken also. Not as powerful as some of the other adjustable boxes but appears to be well made. I didn't find much about Van Aaken for the Cummins but apparently it's a very popular box in Europe for high performance diesels from VW, BMW, MB, etc...

The VA doens't make the most power but it might be the best pressure box to safely stack with the TST duration box.

At first glance I thought that the VA was of no particular interest. But this one and the new Volumizer are a new breed of boxes that hook into just the 60-pin ECM connector. no fuel port, no MAP sensor, no cam sensor, no crank sensor, no injectors, just the one connector to the ECM. Both make about 200 ft. lbs extra torque. I don't know much about these boxes yet but will report what I can

I believe Piers favors the VA over the Edge for the "small" 65-70 hp range box. I think it is adjustable in cab as well. I may be interested.....

true 4" exhaust (banks dp with donaldson muffler)
scotty III
Piers turbo
VA

~100 hp...just what the stock tranny will take.

I had a VA box from Jannetty in my 2000 and loved it. No problems at all. I'm still up in the air on which one to get for my '03. Does the VA for the 3rd gens throw any codes .? I think that will be the big deciding factor.
Ted/JRE, what is your experience with the VA box on a 2003 HO? Thanks, Terry.

We will have some good dyno charts for you on Monday the 8th, We have one of the techs from Van Aaken Developments coming down to our shop. I have a few trucks for testing already but the one truck I am in need of I cannot seem to find... If you guys know of anyone with a 2004 Ford with the 6 liter powerstroke in it send them my way we need that truck on the 8th!

Thanks
As soon as all the testing is complete I'll be sure to post dyno charts for you all.
