Valve body question
What is the difference between the 47re and 48re valve bodies? I may be wrong, but I think some of these companies are selling a 47re VB that has been upgraded to guys with 48re trannys. If DCX made significant or meaningful upgrades to the 48re then that is B.S. In put pls!

TDR response was...
A response on TDR said, "the plate has a bigger hole in the 2 gear shift, like adding a B&M kit. The plate under the upper vb near the switch valve has been widened to allow the fluid to release quicker for lock up in the tc. The vb is the same dimension on both units. "
