It will not work well; it puts a serious angle in the flow of things and you might have a hard time clamping it on. I would buy a 45* silicone boot if I had to do it again.

I guess it depends on what you know about pressurized linear airflow. Mine was no where near lining up and the T bar clamp barely held the boot at that angle.

mine wasnt that bad? I saw a huge difference when i went to my AFE bladerunner...much more torque from 1200-2200 rpm...when i went to the 2nd gen from the AFE i could tell no difference

So what were people mentioning about making these 3rd gens sound like the 2nd gen 24V?
