I thought about trying to polish this one up but instead I will probably just paint it the same color as the valve cover. That should be a lot less work.....

I'm really torn on what i want to do. The guy that gave me the idea said, he took his to a machine shop and had them polish it up..

Well, I just picked it up. Now, I haven't even compared them side by side but will I need a new intercooler boot or will the stock 3rd gen boot work OK?

Just picked it up? did you get it painted? The 3d gen boot should work just fine.

When I said "I just picked it up" I had literally just went out at lunch to the guy's house and "picked it up". It is not painted yet. Maybe this weekend...
