That actually looks very cool. Not sure about using it as "Gauges" per say just because of the size, but to monitor a few things sometimes would be very nice.

There was an android app called "torque" that worked in a similar manner. I used a cheap blue-tooth OBD adapter and it seemed to work ok. it was only $5.00 for the full version and about $15 for the adapter off eBay. The app lacked full functionality for the diesel engines, but the correct "APIs" I think they were called, could be written/coded and added to the app. I used it mainly to read codes. It worked on other vehicles also. I must admit though I have not used it in over a year.
