Us Poor 305/555 CDT Owners, Why We Allways Get Left Out???
Well, BigDan said It, I been thinking it and posted it a few times so here's the official thread.
Why is it that when all the super duper modules or downloaders come out, we are the ones who get the shaft. Just to name a few, where the newer 600/610 get the better programming:
Hot Juice
Smarty
BDPP/Tripple Dog
PPE Accelerator

Maybe its just hard to do? Or maybe they figure they can only do one or the other so they pick the one most people will have(or they think will have). Not saying its right though, ive hoped up everything from a polaris big boss 6X6 to tractors, so i feel your pain and respect you for keepin on with what you have, keep up the good work!

The only deficiency with the 235/250/305 is the Atari ECM....Doesn't have much flash memory and operates slower than the 6## series. It runs the same programming language just slower. It is no different than any other computer just think about it. There are guys making big power on the 03-04's...it's just harder to do it all electronically. ks

hehe, I just wish I could get my truck to handle the few mods i have. Once the SMARTY comes in I will prolly be pedaling a bike for a few weeks, building up tranny money...
There are plenty of us who are even further behind then you 305/555s....

What I've been told is that the CP3 and injectors can't keep up. For whatever reason, the 325 motors flow more fuel.
We shouldn't really complain too much, though. It's still easier for us to get huge gains than earlier years. I had 390-something hp with just a box. Not bad at all.
Plus I still get 18mpg if I keep my foot out of it on the highway (35" tires and Kore susp).

is this the same ECM that the late 2nd gens used? like my 02 HO 245/505??

BigDan, trust me your not the only one who's raised your voice bout it. I have also. Especially when the Smarty and Ultra Crazy Larry Came out and our trucks don't get the tq. management delete and speed limiter delete option as they do. Cause it's only available in the "Race" or "Crazy" tune, and our trucks can't access lev.9 on the Smarty or lev. 4 on the BDTD. Marco did say that the oversite is being fixed as we speak, and should prob. be the 1st update available. But the fact it was overlooked sure mens alot to me.
