Upgraded Transmission Questions

So, just bought an 06 QC/SB 4X4 Cummins Automatic from a guy who had the transmission "built" back at 47K, right now it has 100K. He said thats the only mod ever done to the truck because he heard about the dodge trannys being weak so he had it built shortly after his drivetrain warranty expired to avoid any issues in the future. When i bought it i asked for the receipts from the trans build so i could see what all was done because he didnt really know, he just told the shop to build him a bulletproof trans. I dont know much about trannys so the receipt wasnt much help for me as to see what this trans will hold power wise. Here are some pics of the receipt and i was hoping you guys would beable to understand what he had upgraded. Thanks alot for any help and sorry about the long post.

Also he said the only thing he could remember about it was that they put a triple disc torque converter in and a larger clutch pack. I dont see either of those on that receipt...

Buy the prices listed I'd have to say no on a triple TQ. Not sure about the don't tow in over drive. Going down the the freeway in 3rd all day at 65mph @ 2400 rpm. If you got a properly built tranny it should be just fine.

It seems that is just an estimate, not an invoice for work done. Call the shop as previously suggested.

Thanks guys, come to find out it just a freshened up stock trans, not what i want. I was actually supposed to buy that truck this morning but after this info i ended up with my second choice. Same year truck just more miles but has a proven built trans. Protorque Billet converter, trans go shift kit, rigid 2nd band, Billet band strut, addition 3rd clutch and 4th clutch, full time lube in valve body, aftermarket governor sylnoid, and tightened clearences.

With these upgrades should i be safe to run Edge J/A hot unlock? Rest of the mods to truck in sig

Wonder if the Protorque is just the upgraded billet stator or an actual triple disk converter. Sounds like the stock flexplate is still in?. Stock input shaft.

Could still be a few weak links in there.

Not sure I would go too crazy with any tourque management settings.

Yeah, your good on parts if they id the build right. You can still break it if you try but you can play a lot harder now.

Single disc converter and stock shafts. He said the converter will hold 600hp no problem weak point would be input shaft. But sounds like with the edge ill have no issues

Just don't do any 4wd boosted launches and you're good.

Yes, that is your weak link. If you have no programmer, you may get away with it but you won't gain much acceleration anyways.
