i had the little led lights in the cab of my last truck i mounted them under the seat and when you would open the door they would turn on. that was the only time they came on. i dont know i think im ordering white neon and you guys are gonna be eating crow when you see it. no if i could just find those curb feelers and deer whistles for the bumper

skip the neons, go LED's, most likely what the pete had.

i run 2 36" bars front & rear and 2 48" bars on the sides.

I bought them off of eBay, you can get in any color. I got red for my ford and i love then, you can do 7 different patterns with them.

I did run Neons on my ford, 3 sets actually, rocks kept breaking them of if bent too much by wind, they will break.

Go LED's. Check "led under body" on eBay.

Neons = $180+
LEDs = $79.99 + $15 shipping.

only when i said LED's, i didnt mean running boards, i meant where you never saw the bulbs, just the reflection on the road surface, just like neons.
